Sensor Technology
The
Attalus sensor employs unique and innovative technology measuring
the electrical properties of the fiber in a radio frequency electromagnetic
field. Information on the fiber is obtained through multiple channels
thus allowing the sensor to provide information on a range of fiber
characteristics that includes but is not limited to:
- Denier variation
- Missing and gained filaments
- Node count
- Node quality
- Spin finish variation
- Bulk
Because it monitors all of these properties through a single sensor, manufacturers don't have to invest in several different sensors for one production line.
